'It’s incredible to see how many doors have opened up to me.’

Matias Rebozov - Graduate in Economics

‘If you’re looking for a good price-value relationship, the University of Amsterdam is one of the best options available. Moreover, the Master’s programme in Economics fit my interests and the targets I set for myself. Last but not least, the city of Amsterdam was an important factor as well for taking the final decision.

One of the most remarkable aspects of my study experience was that I got to meet so many other foreign students. People from all over the world come to do this Master’s programme at University of Amsterdam. You never feel lonely in Amsterdam. In fact, it’s the other way around. One of the main advantages is that everyone can have a conversation in English. This makes living and studying easier for international students. Also, the distances are short and having a bike as a main means of transport is pretty convenient as well.

The programme was harder than I expected. It took me some time to get used to the study rhythm, to prepare for the classes in advance and to spend time in the library. After a while I got to really like and enjoy it. Every course was well prepared and the lecturers were always available to give us extra help if needed. I have successfully completed my Master’s programme and now that I’m back in Buenos Aires, I can tell how much I’ve learnt. It’s incredible to see how many doors have opened up to me due to the fact that I’ve obtained an international Master’s degree.’
