"Current Events" lecture Prof. Rene Smits
On November 17, Prof. Rene Smits held the first "Current Events" lecture (actualiteitscollege) about: "Greece, the Euro and the Future of the Union".
On November 17, Prof. Rene Smits held a "Current Events" lecture (actualiteitscollege) in the Agnietenkapel for Amsterdam Law School students and staff on the highly topical and interesting subject "Greece, the Euro and the Future of the Union". The lecture was organized by the Department of Public International Law, the Amsterdam Law School, the ELSA and the Volkenrechtskring. Near 70 persons attended, several of which posed questions at the end. The lecture was followed by a reception.
This was the first of three "Current Events" that we intend to organize. The other two lectures are scheduled for February and April next semester.
