Professor Jonathan Soeharno has particular expertise in the field of the administration of justice and legal theory, notably the integrity of the legal profession and topics of logic, rhetoric, judicial decision-making and rule of law.

He is board member of the Dutch national education programme for lawyers (SBA), lecturer of professional ethics for judges and public prosecutors at the Dutch Training Center for the Judiciary (SSR), fellow of the Montaigne Centre for Judicial Administration and Conflict Resolution (Utrecht University) and member of the editorial board of the Netherlands Journal of Legal Philosophy.
Jonathan Soeharno is lawyer at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek where he specialises in corporate, commercial and Supreme Court litigation.
