Short Biography
Du Haomiao is a PhD research fellow in Amsterdam Center of Environmental Law and Sustainability(ACELS). She received her Bachelor Degree of Laws and Master Degree of Laws at Chongqing University(Chongqing, China) in 2010 and 2012 respectively. Since October 2012, she began her PhD research at Law School of Amsterdam University under the supervision of professor R.J.M. Lefeber.
Research interests
She majored in Environmental and Resource Protection Law in master, and her master thesis focuses on the legal framework of carbon capture and storage(CCS). Now she is doing PhD research on international legal framework for carbon dioxide removal(CDR) in Geoengineering. This research mainly falls on climate change issues relevant to International Environmental Law
