Karoline Rakneberg Haug (1987) joined the Center for the Study of European Contract Law (CSECL) as a Junior Researcher in May 2014. She completed her LL.M. in European Private Law at the University of Amsterdam, as well as her Master of Law at the University of Bergen, Norway, in 2013. During her studies she worked as a teaching assistant (University of Bergen) in tort law, property law, international law, constitutional law, EU/EEA law and law of public administration. In her research, Karoline focuses on transfer of ownership, and how the Scandinavian functional approach to transfer of ownership can contribute to European harmonisation. After approval of her 'Education and Guidance programme', she will be appointed as a PhD candidate as of 1 September.
