For my joint PhD degree (Groningen, NL; Potsdam, DE; Macquarie, AU) I obtained practical experience and theoretical knowledge on neurocognitive and language assessment methods. I performed EEG/ERP, fMRI, eye-tracking, behavioural and aphasiological experiments in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Russia. In my dissertation (supervised by Roelien Bastiaanse and Isabell Wartenburger) I describe a range of studies on discourse-linked time reference in aphasia and non-brain-damaged people.
