Werken bij de UvA
The Faculty of Science of the UvA is one of Europe's foremost institutions for higher education and research in its area of expertise. It participates in international science networks and collaborates with both universities and industry. The faculty has approximately 2,000 students and 1,500 employees spread over four departments and ten research institutes. Each institute has its own research programme, a substantial part of which is externally financed by the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO), the Dutch government, the EU, various private enterprises and the Foundation for Applied Sciences (STW).
Within the next year, the Faculty will complete its move to the Science Park Amsterdam. To facilitate this move, ambitious building projects have been and are still being carried out; they are due for completion summer 2010. The Faculty's move to the Science Park Amsterdam will make the Park one of the largest centres for academic research in the Netherlands.
