Who was/is your Role Model and why?

I don't have one specific role model because throughout history there have been so many intelligent, powerful and courageous women that are inspiring to me and I hope to others as well. Like, Violetta Parra, Rosa Parks, Jane Austen, Frida Kahlo and Elizabeth I. They inspire me in different ways and in different aspects of my life. And even today, there are women inspiring me, like Oprah and Yvonne Keuls. I am glad more and more stories are being told, so that little girls everywhere can be inspired by these exceptional women.

What advice would you give your 17-year-old self, reflecting on your personal or professional  challenges, experiences or successes?

Believe in yourself, in your potential and be confident.
