Who was/is your Role Model and why?

There are many role models that I looked up to in my different life stages. When I was a little, my mom was my childhood role model. Not just because she's a successful business women who inspired me to pursue my dream and teaches me pragmatic way of handling the challenges, but also because of her positive energy. She encourages me to stand up and keep on going any time I faced failure. After studying abroad, and especially when entering the professional career life stage, I read books like Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg and Becoming by Michelle Obama. I consider them female role models who inspire and encourage millions of young professionals to not be afraid to stand up for yourself and to let your voice be heard.

What advice would you give your 17-year-old self, reflecting on your personal or professional  challenges, experiences or successes?

I would tell my 17 year old self to not be afraid of making decision and choices, no matter what decision you make. It will all be an important lesson in your life. And you will become stronger from taking these very little steps.
