Student Impact Centre
Empowering student engagement, inspiring social impact
The Student Impact Centre (SIC) aims to improve the social engagement of the Faculty's students. The SIC inspires students to take action, encourages them to innovate and create solutions, and supports them in tackling current soci(et)al issues.
The SIC places student involvement at its core by giving students a central role in the creation, implementation and development of (their own) projects, focusing on sustainability, diversity and inclusion, and the pursuit of equal opportunities in (higher) education, among other things.
By integrating social engagement with their studies, the Faculty of Science aims to help it’s students become socially responsible individuals who are equipped with the skills they need to implement their knowledge at local, regional and even international level during their careers.
