In his inaugural lecture as professor of Nanotechnology, Willem Mulder will speak about the many promising applications of nanomedicine (the application of nanoparticles for the targeted delivery of diagnostic materials or medicines) in cardiovascular medicine. During his lecture, Mulder will devote special attention to the suppression of vascular inflammation with the help of nanoparticles.
