Great strides can be made in relation to questions of measurement in Psychology, states Denny Borsboom in his inaugural lecture. He argues that psychology should pay renewed attention to this issue at a fundamental level, in order to make real gains in the way we measure psychological characteristics such as intelligence and extraversion.
