Ayrorit Yasin explores affirmative action for Ethiopian women in higher education and the civil service. She hereby assesses the changing position of women in Ethiopia in relation to the reforms under the consecutive regimes, with special regard to the nature and features of their participation in the education and employment sector. In doing so, Yasin investigates the extent to which affirmative action is implemented in selected sectors of the public domain.
