Paul Klarenbeek describes a new Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) protocol for T-cell receptor and B-cell receptor-repertoire analysis (TCR,BCR), as well as the first studies that were performed with this protocol. He hereby discusses and combines the results of these studies with the aim of understanding the possibilities of applying NGS in immunological research.
