In her PhD dissertation, Norah van Mello focuses on non-invasive diagnostic methods for ectopic pregnancy and the risk factors involved in severe complications in this type of pregnancy. Furthermore, she also investigates the treatment effect of systemic methotrexate and the impact on health-related quality of life of this treatment compared to expectant management in women with ectopic pregnancy.
