In his PhD dissertation, Rick Wolff focuses on non-Western ethnic minority students in Dutch higher education. In addition to exploring the dropout and completion rates of these students as opposed to majority students, Wolff also examines whether these differences in study success are related to background characteristics (e.g. ethnic background or preparatory schooling) and the role of social resources in the study success of non-Western ethnic minorities.
