Philosophy
While the conventional image of Moroccan Muslim women is one of victims of patriarchal religious ideologies, Aziza Ouguir offers an alternative discourse that presents women, whether in the past or in the present, as religious agents actively engaged in creating, redefining, reinterpreting and transforming their religious roles in both the private and public sphere.
