Gas chromatography (GC) is one of the most successful separation techniques in analytical chemistry. Daniela Peroni examines the so-called ‘comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatopgraphy' (GCxGC), which is an extremely powerful separation method. Peroni’s research is hereby focused on maximising the performance of the GCxGC set-ups and column combinations.
