Adolencents with a Mild Intellectual Disability (MID) are more prone to risky behavior, such as sexual risk-taking, substance abuse and delinquency than their non-MID counterparts. For her PhD dissertation, Anika Bexkens explores the factors that might underlie this risk-taking behavior in adolescents with MID.
