Liesbeth Kager aims to provide a more extensive and in-depth analysis of the effects of the separate proteins involved in coagulation and fibrinolysis on the host response during tuberculosis (TB) and melioidosis. Tuberculosis is a chronic lung disease; meliodosis is a more acute infectious disease resulting in pneumonia.
