The adult congenital heart disease (CHD) population continues to grow due to the improved survival beyond childhood. The right side of the heart is of lesser importance in patients with acquired heart disease, but its role is of increasing importance in adults with CHD. Mark Schuuring reviews the right side of the heart in the various groups of adults with CHD.
