A dysmature baby is a baby whose weight is too low for its stage of pregnancy. Bart Voskamp is looking at the risk factors for dysmaturity and ways of improving its detection. He is also focusing on the relationship between the prenatal detection of abnormal growth, the moment of partum (birth) and pregnancy outcomes for pregnancies with a dysmature baby.
