Salomé Dibi details four different studies of accretion and emission processes around the galactic centre Sgr A*, a supermassive black hole located in the centre of the Milky Way. Dibi studies Sgr A* because it is the closest supermassive black hole and therefore provides incomparable observational data with which to test theories and predictions.
