Sanne Kruikemeier examines the extent to which the Internet influences citizens’ involvement in politics. In addition to exploring the political implications of the Internet, Kruikemeier also seeks to ascertain whether the use of online media during elections is advantageous, and whether it matters in which way politicians and political parties campaign online.
