There are many applications that produce uncertain data. Some of the reasons include untrusted sources, imprecise measuring instruments and uncertain methods. Entity Resolution (ER) is the process of identifying duplicate tuples, referring to the tuples that represent the same real-world entity. The ER problem arises in many real-life applications, such as data integration. Naser Ayat deals with the ER problem over probabilistic data.
