An embedded system is soft or hardware that is integrated in devices and provide the latter with a type of intelligent behaviour. The design of embedded systems is becoming increasingly complex because of the need to meet a number of requirements, such as light weight and low energy consumption. Roberta Piscitelli investigates Design Space Exploration (DSE), a model which makes it possible to decrease the design space in embedded systems.
