Janeline van Hus aims to expand the knowledge on an early intervention programme for very preterm-born children, and to provide optimal neurodevelopmental care and support for these vulnerable children and their parents. Van Hus hereby presents the effects of the Infant Behavioral Assessment and Intervention Program (IBAIP) on neurodevelopmental outcome of very preterm-born and very low birth weight (VLBW) children (32 weeks and/or 1500 gram) who were enrolled in a randomised clinical trial over a period from 6 months up to and including 5.5 years.
