Sanne Belderok's research focuses on the epidemiology and risks of various travel-related infectious diseases and the relevant protective measures. To this end, she assesses diarrhoea, influenza, malaria and sexual behaviour amongst travellers on both short and long trips to tropical and subtropical countries.
