Jing Guo's research centres around court rulings and their role as a source of law in the Netherlands. He is seeking to acquire new knowledge that can help enrich existing English-language literature on the role of jurisprudence in countries with a civil (continental) law tradition. He also aims to gain insights that can be of use to China, where legal scholars and judges have actively been seeking ways to improve the application of jurisprudence in the legal practice.
