Aquired brain injury (ABI) is an umbrella term, encompassing a wide spectrum of brain injuries that includes traumatic and non-traumatic etiologies. Due to the multiple domain consequences, return to work (RTW) after ABI is not always self-evident. To be able to support people with ABI as much as possible during their RWT process, it is necessary to gain insight into the return to work of people with ABI and the factors that influence this process. Judith van Velzen provides insight into the process of RTW after ABI, and studies the possibilities of supporting the return to work process of people with ABI during rehabilitation.
