Micro and small businesses in developing countries are held responsible for 70% of industrial pollution in the developing world. Environmental groups in the developing world are, however, primarily focused on ‘end-of-pipe’ solutions that are usually unaffordable for these businesses. Mónica Sanz investigates how micro and small businesses can be involved in achieving national water and environmental goals.
