Alex Harwig investigates (small) RNAs that are either derived from viruses, in particular human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) or that can be used to target viruses. He hereby throws light on different attempts to optimise a promising therapeutic molecule named AgoshRNA, e.g. for an anti-HIV therapy.
