Krit Zeegers studies the interpretation and application of international human rights norms in the procedural process of three international criminal tribunals (ICTs): the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda and the International Criminal Court. He investigates whether the context in which the ICTs operate has an impact on their interpretation and application of human rights norms.
