Polymers are large molecules that occur in a variety of forms, depending on the type of monomers they include. Because of this diversity, traditional single-technique approaches to characterization have produced only limited results. The aim of Ian Dimzon’s research is to demonstrate that accurate polymer characterization can in fact be achieved using a combination of different instrumental and statistical techniques.
