Danielle Chevalier’s research focuses on legal interventions in public space. More specifically, she looks at the sudden appearance and increase of local bans on the use of soft drugs in the first decade of the 21st. She investigates how, why and by whom these bans were instigated and what the effects were. Chevalier also examines how the bans were implemented from a legal point of view.
