Liquid chromatography is an important technique used to separate complex mixtures of non-volatile components. Combining two separation systems that both feature independent retention mechanisms can produce gains in separation power and analysis time. Rudy Vonk’s research focuses on adding a third independent separation mechanism for even greater gains in separation power.
