Patients with head and neck cancer benefit from treatment with radiotherapy and chemoradiotherapy, but also run the risk of developing hearing loss as a serious side effect of these therapies. The aim of Eleonoor Theunissen's research is to improve our knowledge of hearing loss in patients with head and neck cancer, and investigate to what extent it can be predicted.
