Wei Quan’s research focuses on Multi-Processor System-on-Chip (MPSoC) architectures, a type of computer architecture increasingly used in current-day embedded systems. His aim is to increase the efficiency of modern MPSoC systems by improving the mapping of dynamic application tasks. The approach he investigates is to adaptively reconfigure systems based on the dynamic behaviour of application workloads and the status of the target system.
