Pam Hufman examined whether the protective provisions of labour law remain applicable if an employer is involved in insolvency proceedings, and how this is justified. Hufman carried out comparative research, looking at the relationship between labour law and insolvency law in Germany and Belgium, and formulated recommendations for how this same relationship could be structured in the Netherlands.
