Even is an endangered Northern Tungusic language spoken in Eastern Siberia. Natalia Aralova analysed the vowel systems in two dialects of Even: the Bystraia and Sebian dialects. These dialects are spoken on the periphery of the Even-speaking area and are separated by almost two thousand kilometres.
