Triple drug combination antiretroviral therapy (CART) has transformed HIV treatment over the past decades, turning what used to be a deadly infection into a treatable chronic condition. In her research, Sophie Cohen focuses on long-term outcomes of CART in HIV-infected children in the Netherlands. She also looks at various complications of chronic HIV infection in children.
