Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors are rare tumours that form in the hormone-making cells of the pancreas. The aim of Anneke Jilesen's research is to gain insight into the treatment of this type of tumour in the Netherlands. She analyses diagnostic aspects and surgical outcomes of over 200 pNET patients who underwent surgical treatment at the AMC and Erasmus MC hospitals.
