Colorectal cancer is one of the most frequently occurring forms of cancer in the developed world. Approximately half of patients with localised CRC develop metastatic disease, which is associated with a high mortality rate. The aim of Sabine Vendelbosch’s research is to identify prognostic markers that allow the selection of patients who may have the optimal benefit of available treatments.
