In recent years, several serious communications security breaches have created a greater awareness of how critically contemporary economic, social and political life depends on the security of the networked communications environment. In his research, Axel Arnbak asks how EU lawmakers should protect private communications security. He adopts a multi-disciplinary approach , combining legal research methods with insights and original research from computer science, security economics and political science perspectives.
