There is currently no effective treatment to cure or halt the progress of amytrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a lethal, progressive motor neuron disease. With his research, Huub Creemers aims to optimise multidisciplinary ALS care by expanding our knowledge of relating to previously identified bottlenecks in complex ALS care, including aids and adaptations, prognostication, quality of care and caregiver strain. He also examines care intervention case management in a mixed methods research projects.
