Leptons are elementary particles within the Standard Model of particle physics. There are three charged leptons: the electron, the muon and the tau. In his research, Jörn Mahlstedt looks for a substructure of leptons, using data from the ATLAS experiment, measured in the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.
