Abdullah Cihangir’s research focuses on n-simplices, which are generalisations of the notion of a triangle or tetrahedron, in which n indicates the dimensions. Cihangir studies certain special classes of n-simplices that occur in the context of numerical analysis, linear algebra, abstract algebra, geometry and combinatorics. He focuses specifically on the nonobtuse simplex, a simplex without any obtuse dihedral angles.
