Evidence-based interventions are a crucial tool for preventing at-risk youth from developing a persistent criminal career. Sanne de Vries’s research includes a meta-analysis of youth crime prevention, as well as an evaluation of a specific Dutch youth crime intervention called ‘New Perspectives’. She also investigates the way the relationship between adolescents and their parents affects adolescent problem behaviour.
