In future, as autonomous agents like Google’s self driving car start operating in human inhabited environments, they will increasingly become part of our daily lives. To prepare for this, Guangliang Li investigates methods for increasing the efficiency of agent learning from human reward, and considers solutions for better engaging human trainers in the process.
