Sarah Clement’s research focuses on endocrine disorders in survivors of childhood cancer. Endocrine disorders are among the most frequently occurring adverse effects in long-term childhood cancer survivors, predominantly caused by the therapies used to treat their malignancies. The aim of Sarah Clement’s research is to gain greater insight into the prevalence and risk factors of endocrinopathies in this group, so risk-adapted long-term monitoring programmes can be developed to facilitate timely diagnosis and adequate management of the disorders.
